About This Piece

Vintage Design

Italian round table from the first half of the 20th century. Furniture in walnut, mahogany, maple, rosewood and fruitwood, finely inlaid with geometric patterns as per the Sorrento tradition. Nicely sized top richly inlaid with central decoration depicting musical instruments and floral motifs (see photo). Solid central leg turned and also inlaid resting on three feet. Excellently proportioned table that can be used as a support surface in a bedroom or living room or as an art object for display. Furniture that has undergone restoration work on the top (see photo). It has small scratches and signs of aging, structurally sound, overall in good condition.
