About This Piece

Vintage Design

Hans Schalk designed this multifunctional chaise longue for Embru in Rüti. He designed this piece of furniture to be multifunctional, to meet the highest user requirements and at the same time in the design language of modernity.

The chaise longue can be infinitely adjusted from lying flat to a comfortable sitting position with slightly angled legs. The spiral spring mesh of the spring frame and the cushioning of the support provide the user with the greatest possible comfort in any position.

Chrome-plated tubular steel, Bakelite, spiral spring hinges, textile upholstery with special padding, lacquered wooden armrests.
