A vibrant modernist style nature landscape composition, executed in oil onto canvas and painted in 1952. Featuring a rich and vivid colour palette in earthy tones, this snow-filled alp landscape composition is filled with autumnal coloured trees in the middle ground as well as lush green trees in the background. Painterly and expressionist brushstrokes fill the canvas, giving the painting an uplifting as well as light textural quality. This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary light wooden frame. Overall, both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition. Size: 64 x 74.5 cm (including frame)
