Antique American 3-Seater School Bench or Cinema Bench from Grand Rapid School Furniture, New York, 1890s

Fantastic old 3-seater flap bench from New York around 1890.
with an elaborate cast iron frame, lavishly floral-or-or-ornamental decorated. Armrags made of solid beech wood, mahogany colors stained. Backrags and seat made of molded wood, also stained mahogany colors. In the middle of the backrests are old metal plaques with seat numbering.
The bank is met with "Grand Rapid School Furn. Co" and a patent number.
The Grand Rapid School Furniture Company was founded in 1886, based in New York, and in 1899 joined the American School Furniture Company with 18 other school and seating furniture manufacturers. In 1906 the name in American Seating Company was changed. Venues such as the Radio City Music Hall and the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, the Fenway Park in Boston, the now demolished Candlestick Park in San Francisco and the United States' Senate Chamber were equipped with furniture from the American Seing Company in the following years. The company hired the production of seats for stadiums, arenas and theater in 2017.
The bank should be anchored in the ground for better stability. Corresponding holes in the feet are available.
Very good condition with signs of use and beautiful patina. Cleaned and re -polished. An old repair site in the foot area (see detailed photo).
