About This Piece

Brooch in 18 carat yellow gold, eagle head hallmark. In the form of a crossed ribbon with 4 openwork twisted gold strands bordered by tiny beads with 8 claw set diamonds and 3 claw set turquoise cabochons on one side and, at the other side, a line of 7 claw set turquoise cabochons. The clasp is a double pin with security pump. Total weight of the jewel: about 16.1 g Length: 4.8 cm, width 2.5 cm Authentic vintage brooch – a unique piece, created in the 1960s. A superb brooch, light and contemporary in style. The turquoise contrasts delightfully with the yellow gold and diamonds. Best worn with dark attire for a more striking effect.
