Vintage Design

Living room comprising four chairs and two flat-folder armchairs in molded beech, sculpted and patinated in the mind of Jacob-Desmalter.
Empire Italian work, return from Egypt.
The set of two armchairs with files on a carved pediment with a head of Egyptian decorated with floral ornament.
They have armrests supported by caryatids with Egyptian heads wearing Némès.
Ornamental garlands are just below these heads.
The anterior feet are at claws of lion posed Syr a stele while the posterior feet are straight.
These feet are united by crosspieces which offer stability and a certain lightness.
The original patina mixing gray and gold sr perfectly combine with the tapestry of exceptional origin.
The four chairs also river a file with a richly and elegantly decorated pediment in the image of the armchairs.
The anterior feet have golden rings and posterior feet are straight.
Two of them are lined with their original fabric while two others have been stamped in a fabric mixing Greek laurel crown and golden bee whose colors are in harmony with the whole.
The two chairs do (the X H (H of a seat) * p): 41 * 90 (48) * 41cm.
The two armchairs: 60 * 95 (46) * 47cm.
This very atypical set enjoys an extraordinary decorative potential.
