Vintage Design

An Imposing and quality Regency period surround in Pencil Vein Carrara Marble. The jambs with tapering fielded panels, surmounted by Anthemion carved corner blocks. The moulded ingrounds supporting a lightly arched opening. The frieze with centre plaque of acanthus, foliate and conforming Anthemion carving. All beneath a wide and generous shelf. A very large and impressive piece from the early 19th century. Opening Sizes 40.5" wide x 37" high
