Antique silver plate set of 6 glasses and a tray in box Sheffield Edward Collection made in England the end of the 19th century.
The city of Sheffield in England is famous for its metal products, especially silver. Sheffield silverware and other products are known for their high quality and historical significance.

Since the 18th century, Sheffield has been known for its silverware. The term "Sheffield Plate" describes the process of fusing a silver plate with a copper base, which made the products look like pure silver, but more affordable.

The set has the original manufacturer's label.
