This restored Gründerzeit-era table from around 1900 combines historical craftsmanship with a bright, timeless appeal. The octagonal tabletop, elegantly turned baluster legs, and curved feet give it an exceptional presence, while the solid cross bracing ensures high stability.

As part of our restoration, the table was completely cleaned, stabilized, sanded, and carefully refinished. The surface was given a subtle light hue in a shabby-chic style and then finished with beeswax. This created a matte surface with an authentic patina that allows the piece's century-long history to remain visible.

with a diameter of 97.5 cm, the table is ideal as a small dining table, kitchen table, breakfast table, or decorative centerpiece in a conservatory, studio, or vacation home. Its balanced proportions allow it to be used in both historic buildings and modern interiors, where antique furniture provides a stylish contrast.

The hand-turned baluster legs, the sturdy cross bracing, and the elegantly curved feet reflect the high-quality furniture craftsmanship of the late Historicism and Gründerzeit periods. Every glance reveals finely crafted details, rarely found in this quality today.

The table is in restored and ready-to-use condition. Minor signs of age and wear have been intentionally preserved, underscoring the authenticity of this original piece.
