Vintage Design

Michael Graves (1934 - 2015), "Arcadia" table, 1996, for Meccani Arredamenti.
A beautiful and extremely rare round table by Michael Graves, designed in 1996 and manufactured by Meccani; the table is made of birdseye American maple with dark wood inlays on the top and ebonized columns.
It is part of the "Arcadia" Collection, which also includes an extendable rectangular table, chairs, and a sideboard.
It is one of the finest examples of Postmodern Design, of which Graves was a leading exponent.
Dimensions: 111.5 x 75 cm (44.5 x 29.5 in).
