About This Piece

Vintage Design

The Art Deco armchair comes in its original cover with only minimal signs of wear on the fabric. The jaquard velvet fabric in a mint-colored tone has a beautiful play of colors and is in very good condition. The floral patterns of the fabric are typical of the time. The armrests have wooden covers made of oak which are slightly streamlined towards the back in a typical Art Deco manner. The chair feet are made of dark wood. The suspension and padding of the armchairs provide very good and comfortable seating.

The slightly streamlined design of the armchair, combined with the unusual fabric, gives it a very interesting appearance. The armchairs were probably made in Germany in the 1930s, and the spring core has certainly been reworked in the meantime.
