About This Piece

Vintage Design

A refined pair of Dutch Art Deco bar stools dating from the 1930s, crafted from solid oak and retaining their original woven textile upholstery. Their tall architectural proportions and restrained geometric detailing reflect the balance of craftsmanship and modernity associated with Dutch interwar design.

The stools feature square upholstered seats, gently shaped aprons and slender oak legs connected by practical footrests. Subtle carved details add visual interest, while the richly patinated oak and muted red and dark-toned upholstery give the pair an authentic, distinctive character.
