Beautiful and elegant pair of French chairs; They are made with robust and precious oak wood; their structure is of extreme robustness, in fact the rear legs form a single piece with the back, while the armrests and front legs, while having a slender and pleasing design, they are very compact and strong; the back is comfortable and has a gentle curved shape; the seat is wide and comfortable also because the armrests are positioned in a practical and intelligent; They were created between 1930 and 1933 by a skilled master craftsman of Colmar, a delightful French medieval town on the border with Germany in the Department of Haut-Rhin in the region of Eastern France; the velvet jacket with a delicate yellow color is still the original and is in good condition, in fact we decided not to do any restoration because their authentic appearance and their slight imperfections make these chairs truly seductive and fascinating, and they attest the antiquity. With their elegant curvilinear structure, I am a perfect example of Art Deco that, thanks to their charm, their elegance and their refinement are able to inform us of yesteryear charm, tradition and functionality.
