Art Deco Walnut Sideboard with Bakelite Handles, 1930s

A striking Art Deco walnut sideboard by Talent , dating from the 1930s and featuring beautifully figured walnut veneers, rounded outer corners and a bold symmetrical façade. The design is particularly strong, with twin cupboard doors arranged around a lighter contrasting central column and a sculptural pair of Bakelite handles stretching horizontally across the front. Chunky block feet and softly curved door edges give the piece a substantial, architectural presence typical of the period. Internally, the sideboard offers generous storage with shelving to both sides and a shallow internal drawer, making it as practical as it is decorative.
