Mid-century, vintage, folding magazine rack made of black, faux leather/skai/leatherette, on a brass-colored, metal frame and legs from the late 60s, early 70s.
Showcases a sleek, vintage, yet modern design, with two bars on the upper section that have a chain on either side, making the rack simple to open and close easily, a third bar on the underside and four, spindle/tapered legs.
Piece is in overall, excellent, original vintage condition. The black, faux leather is soft and pliable, with very light signs of age and use commensurate with time, with its original stitching and a patina of time (see photo.) No tears, holes or rips.
The frame and legs are also in great, original condition, with minor signs of age and use consistent with time (see photos.) All legs come with their original tips.
Both a fantastic looking and functional accent piece, that will work very well with any given decor in the the living room, den, office, bedroom or elsewhere. Perfect for storing magazines, books or newspapers. It is also light, so easy to move and store wherever one desires.
Piece has been gently cleaned, with respect to the original patina.
