This piece is part of a collection of pillowcases made from vintage kilim rugs which were not good enough for selling (signs of age, holes, etc). However, you can be sure about the quality of pillows, because the rug is made very tight and strong using a special technique of sewing with the backside made of modern cotton fabric. The makers use sustainability-driven materials, such as vintage wool and recycled cotton. Every symbol on the pillow cover has a special meaning; usually, these symbols serve as protection against the bad eye or to attract love and peace.
