Game of chess and checkers designed by the architect Antonella Fonda.
Chess and checkers have been finely crafted by specialists in the processing of high precision turned small parts, the metal used is brass as it is more suitable, both for its consistency and because it lends itself better to the galvanic process.
The turning and milling marks are proof that the objects have been carefully worked one by one and not printed in series.
For the coloring, gilding with fine gold with a galvanic process and chrome plating were chosen. These treatments also serve to make the metal unalterable.
Chessboard made of fine 5 mm crystal, carefully screen-printed with indelible ink; the lower truncated pyramid support is made of wood, covered with a thin layer of black velvet (the latter loses some black lint).
The designer's signature is present in a corner of the play area and under each piece.
