Beautiful and large-sized work by Casorati, hand signed and published in one of the most important monographs about the Artist. Felice Casorati was an important Italian painter, sculptor and printmaker. He was an exponent of the “Ritorno all’ordine”movement in 1920s. After 1930, his palette brightened, as you can see on this beautiful oil painting dated 1955. The provenance is the important Art Collection “Colongo di Biella” as indicated in the certificate of authenticity. Includes wooden frame : 114.5 x 80 cm Bibliography: L. Carluccio, Felice Casorati, Teca, Torino 1964, p. 549, n. 592. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price.
