Set of two bedside tables from art deco era. Produced in Czechoslovakia in 1940s. The tables are made of oak wood with walnut veneer finish. Each table has a compartment with doors and one glass shelf in clear glass. There is also a black glass panel on the compartment. This black glass is original metallurgical glass. The tables show amazing details of construction with bentwood, curvy doors. The tables underwent a complete restoration. The clear glass panels are new, the wood is finished with a new varnish. The table doors are opening by an elegant detail on the side of the door. This makes them look like there is no handle. Very clever design.
