Sven Andersen was a Danish silversmith who was active in the city Aarhus from 1966 to 1980. He was known for designing and making jewelry in both gold and silver.
Today, Sven Andersen's works are sought-after collector's items within Danish jewelry art from the mid-20th century. His period as an active silversmith was relatively short (only 14 years), which makes his works relatively rare on the antiques market.
His work represents the Danish design tradition in jewelry art, where quality craftsmanship and modern design go hand in hand.
