About This Piece

A Danish silver bar brooch with 3 cupped discs joined together and partly filled with a polished pink gemstone.

The brooch was made by Danish jeweller N.E.From and is in a modernist style.

Beginning in the 1950s the work produced by From have modernist, clean lines with geometric and abstract shapes.

One of his signature styles is the oxidized cupped silver disks which form part of the floral design.
