Very nice model DS11 sectional sofa designed and made by De Sede, Switzerland 1970. This sofa is unique and stands out due to its exceptional patina, giving it character. It's a lovely camel-colored piece made from various leftover leather patches, and it sits on wooden gliding feet, creating a floating appearance. The best part is, you can arrange it however you like, as it's entirely modular. The patchwork design gives the sofa a cool look and the padded leather makes it super comfortable. What's great is that it looks impressive from all angles, not just the front. The leather is reconditioned with a leather care product special for vintage leather. To give the leather some strength, color, and protection again after many years of usage. De Sede traces its roots back to a small saddler’s workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Skilled craftsmen dedicated themselves to transforming high-quality leather into exceptional seating furniture. with years of experience and hard work, they created handcrafted leather pieces of remarkable quality. In 1965, the family-owned business transitioned into a joint-stock company known as de Sede AG while staying true to their original principles. The company experienced rapid growth from that point onward. They enlisted top-notch designers, expanded manufacturing facilities, and established an international distribution network. Like many luxury leather goods brands, furniture-manufacturing company de Sede started out as a saddle-making atelier. Based in Klingnau—located in northern Switzerland near the German border—the company traces its high-end furniture production back to 1965, when the original family-run business incorporated and began to collaborate with international designers on the creation of handmade, premium-leather-clad chairs, lounges, and sofas. Over the years, de Sede’s product offering has expanded to include tables, beds, and more.

Generous proportions balanced by sleek silhouettes characterize de Sede furniture. The top quality craftsmanship means each piece has been built to last.
