About This Piece

Vintage Design

The dresser was designed by Otto Meier and Ernst Mumenthaler for the furniture competition "Das neue Heim II" in Zurich in 1928.
from 1935 Elisabeth Meier-Bernasconi, Otto Meier's wife, produced the furniture in small numbers in her furniture workshop in Basel. The chest of drawers was produced in lightweight construction and is in very good condition with minor signs of age-related wear and a great, warm patina.
