Berlin-based designer Elisa Strozyk is known for handmade designs that challenge our expectations of materials. With her ongoing Wooden Textiles project, for example, Strozyk transforms pieces of wood into malleable wooden surfaces by attaching them to textile bases. Dyed Wooden Textile No 1 is made from dyed maple with cotton. The piece measures 120 x 160 x 0.06 cm in total. The measurements given below are of the round cardboard tube that the piece will be shipped in.
