This fine and early 19th century French Empire ormolu-mounted mahogany commode was made circa 1802 in France, probably in Paris. The brass fittings are from a very high quality and the whole piece is in a very good restored condition. It still has got some great patina. The commode comes with one key which fits all the locks. The beautiful marble top was replaced at some stage. The lion feet are very nicely carved and of good quality.
