A substantial and exceptionally characterful 19th century French provincial harvest table of monumental scale, featuring a beautifully aged plank top above two full-width drawers positioned at either end.

Rich in primitive craftsmanship and rustic charm, the table showcases traditional pegged construction, handcrafted bracket supports and a wonderfully timeworn surface with deep grain definition and warm natural colouring developed over generations of use.

The impressive proportions and exceptional 119cm depth give the piece remarkable presence, making it ideally suited as a farmhouse dining table, kitchen island, centre table or large decorative work table.

The thick plank top displays honest age-related wear, historic markings and natural imperfections that contribute beautifully to its authentic French provincial character.

The table retains a beautifully worn original surface with historic marks, shrinkage, surface scratches and natural imperfections throughout, all contributing to its authentic rustic character and charm.

Historic woodworm is present in places, typical of antique pine furniture. The table has been professionally treated as a precautionary measure and remains structurally solid throughout.
