About This Piece

This series of three oil paintings on canvas (100 x 100 cm each) is perfectly coordinated in terms of color and composition, each image centered by a lighter square that creates depth. One work in the series, Dance, shows abstract, dancing figures full of energy and movement. The series comes from Garret Andersson Williams, a New York-born artist who made a name for himself in Dortmund and worked there for decades. His works, which are characterized by a powerful, expressive visual language, have been exhibited in numerous galleries and are recognized by collectors of contemporary art.
