Beautiful set of 6 chairs and two armchairs. Made with eight different style chairs. This group was made from Chippendale and Hepplewhite style chairs collected over the years. from the same collection of Biedermeier groups, we managed to create a set of 8 different styles by adding two armchairs to the set of 6 chairs. This is the Georgian set, we have grouped the Queen Annes separately. The eclecticism here is really brought to involve the ending too. Some chairs are painted, others have undergone an antiqued finish. Some show incredible carving detail. I believe none of the chairs are Georgian originals, they probably belong to the Victorian revival of this style which was made in several parts of Europe. Also in this case the aim is to have a set that breaks with tradition and to make each chair unique and unrepeatable. The idea of grouping into eclectic sets was the best way to evaluate a collection of individual pieces, which return to being used as they were intended. A unique set for a client who wants their home to be about having no repetition. Every guest is special and different, so why shouldn't the chairs be like that! Sourced from a Biedermeier and 19th century collector in Verona, the chairs will be sent as is or complimentarily coated with a layer of French polish and wax. Some cracks on the veins will be restored before shipping. The measurement listed is the first on the left of the top row. The full list of measurements will be sent upon request. The country of origin list is England, but this set has a larger area of origin and likely features styles from throughout the 19th century English area. Here are the measurements of the first two starting from the left of each row top left height 98.5 cm, width 59.5 cm, depth 50 cm bottom left height 95 cm, width 56 cm, depth 56 cm.
