Pierre-Yves Trémois, born January 8, 1921 in Paris and died August 16, 2020 in Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche, is a French designer, painter, engraver and sculptor.

After studying at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris where he was a student of Fernand Sabatté, Pierre-Yves Trémois obtained, in 1943, the first Grand Prix de Rome for painting and devoted himself to chisel and water -strong from 1944 to begin a work which is estimated at more than a thousand engravings.

He died at age 99 on August 16, 2020.

He is the dean of election (since 2012) and the oldest (from March 25, 2014) of the Academy.
