Beautiful composition in Renaissance style, the work reflects the artist Giovanni Beltrami that, on the heels of the current in vogue in the nineteenth century which proposed the artistic styles of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, tried his hand at this table to sacred subjects.
Painter, illustrator and art critic Milan, as well as a lover of painting on glass and mosaic, The Beltrami grew up in Milan Scapigliatura, looking with his style mediation between modern trends and tradition. As part of painting he is particularly stated as a landscape, but was always considered of great and varied talented artist, which includes in its repertoire numerous works on sacred subjects, especially as interior decorator and churches.
