About This Piece

Vintage Design

Charming French gueridon table in lacquered metal, reminiscent of the 1950s. The elegant, round tabletop rests on a delicate tripod base with curved struts and a central reinforcing ring – a classic design originally created for use on terraces, balconies, or in French gardens. Similar models are described as handcrafted French gueridon garden tables from the 1950s.

The beautiful patina, developed over decades, is particularly appealing: the original dark green lacquer shows age-related chips and rust stains, giving the table its authentic vintage and industrial character. This natural aging makes each piece unique and is highly valued by collectors and enthusiasts of French garden furniture.

The table is ideal as a side table, bistro table, or plant table – both indoors as a decorative accent and in sheltered outdoor areas.

Condition: Good, stable vintage condition. The construction is solid, and the tabletop shows clear signs of wear with a beautiful original patina. The paint is chipped in places, and the metal exhibits age-related oxidation, which emphasizes the table's unique character.
