About This Piece

Vintage Design

Genuine antique secretary cabinet from Sweden made in gustavian style. The piece is a secretary desk with an upper cabinet, made by hand in solid pine around 1820 in northern Sweden. The cabinet is made in two parts with fluted decor on the doors and the desk has an interior with multiple drawers and cubbies. The original paint has been meticulously brought out by hand. The paint has some distress and authentic patina. Healthy and stable frame. The lower cabinet measures 109 cm wide and 52 cm deep. The upper measures 118 cm wide including the pediment and 28 cm deep. Height to the desktop is 75 cm.
