About This Piece

Contemporary Design

Perceived as both a filigree network of triangles and a monolithic boxed perimeter, the piece is inspired by the process of creating a house of cards. This practice is as much about balancing a fragile tower as about the thrill of reaching the top induced by the danger of falling.
Although it has a minimalistic approach characterized by clean lines and a monochromatic aesthetic, the House of Cards Bookshelf does not lack emotional depth. Its simplicity stems from the fractal nature of its structure, where the entire geometry is echoed in its details and shadows.
It's a multifunctional piece that can be used as a bookshelf, display stand, or even better as a room divider.
The unit can be disassembled and comes with high-quality pre-inserted detachable joints, which increase rigidity and make it easy to assemble. Polish is done by hand with a special lacquer
