This pendant was designed and produced by Ercole Barovier in the 40s, in Murano glass, the cup was made with the "Reticello" glass technique and the two leaves in blown glass.

Barovier's artistic glassworks has existed since the middle of the 13th century and is therefore the sixth oldest family business in the world, still in operation. In 1926 Ercole Barovier, Benvenuto's son, took over the artistic direction of the company, which in 1936 merged with the F.lli Toso glassworks, taking on the current name of Barovier & Toso. Hercules invented the new technique of hot colouring without melting the glass.
