Originating from a private villa in Naples, these pieces are completely original and preserved in outstanding, museum-quality condition. Each stool - chair features a sculptural U-shaped silhouette executed in richly figured walnut burl, resting on a stepped plinth base and distinguished by a central decorative sphere beneath the seat — a hallmark of Italian Art Deco design that unites geometry, balance, and artistic movement. The walnut veneer displays spectacular book-matched grain patterns and a deep, warm patina developed naturally over time. The stools retain their original jacquard velvet upholstery, woven in luxurious shades of burgundy, gold, and olive green, with a bold floral-geometric pattern typical of the high Italian decorative arts of the 1930s.
