Vintage Design

Chest of Drawers hand-made in Italy in the late 1700s using walnut and walnut veneer following the venetian style. The commode shows a bombed shape with three rows of inset drawers. The drawer fronts follow the shape of the case and are curved. Each drawer front is decorated with beautiful walnut veneer, arranged in different directions so to create frames and decoration with the juxtaposition of the different grains of the wood. The whole case (front, sides and legs) is decorated with crossbanded veneer.
This is a gorgeous and very usable commode who can provide plenty of storage space and well as being a fantastic conversation starter with your guests.
