Vintage Design

This 1970s pendant lamp is a quintessential example of the "Cocoon" technique, an innovative process where synthetic resin fibers are sprayed over a metal frame to create an organic, skin-like membrane. The structure is elegantly finished with a solid teak wood ceiling mount, a warm contrast typical of high-end Italian mid-century production. This material is celebrated for its ability to emit a soft, diffused, and incredibly cozy ambient light.

Excellent vintage condition. The cocoon membrane is perfectly intact, free of tears or significant staining, maintaining its original creamy tone. Tested and ready to hang.

The "Cocoon" lamp is a true 1970s design icon, currently experiencing a massive resurgence in contemporary interior trends. Its lightweight, ethereal look makes it perfect for a Boho-Chic bedroom, a minimalist Scandinavian-inspired living room, or as a soft focal point in a creative studio.
