About This Piece

Vintage Design

Traditional wooden chabako or storage box for tea.

Dimensions: height 11 cm, diameter 23 cm.

The round wooden box with a lid is finished with several layers of urushi lacquer: the exterior is black lacquered, and the interior is vermilion red lacquered. The lid of this chabako is adorned with a kamon (家紋), a traditional Japanese family emblem.

This stylish wooden chabako is a unique decorative piece that fits into any interior.

The box is perfectly usable as a sewing box, catch-all, etc.

In good condition with normal signs of age.

Delivery Details
