About This Piece

Contemporary Design

Kuro, Lukas Cober's debut furniture project, laid the foundation towards his identity as a craftsman, designer and artist.
In a search for pureness in shape and materiality, Kuro is a link between freehand sculptured rural shapes and graphical lines.
The subtle curves of the top surface with visually almost zero thickness are flowing smoothly into the column shaped legs. The black burned oak surface is giving no distraction in order to leave space for the shapes to act.
Each object is individually built, hand shaped and burned, breathing in a unique soul to every single piece.

Details of the shape can ( and are welcome) to slightly differ from piece to piece due to the making process.
The piece is oiled, waxed and polished to a fine satin shine.

The delivery partner will email and/or call you at least one day in advance to arrange a delivery time. A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection. Item will be left in its packaging after delivery. A signature will be required upon delivery.
In-Home Delivery: (For in-home delivery service, additional fees apply.
