A beautifully proportioned mid-century modular Ladderax desk and shelving system by Staples, England, dating from the 1960s. Combining elegant architectural black steel supports with warm teak shelving and an integrated floating writing desk, this versatile system remains one of the most iconic British furniture designs of the period.
Designed to be fully modular, the desk and shelves can be repositioned to different heights, allowing the system to adapt to a variety of interiors and practical requirements. The clean linear design, floating desk and quality teak construction make it equally suited to a home office, study, library or contemporary living space.
This complete system comprises:
8 adjustable teak shelves
1 floating locking writing desk with integrated drawer
Original working key
4 original black steel Ladderax end supports
