Beautiful Aegean rich terracotta amphora. Traditionally each would have held wine and would have had a corked top, this one features traditional patterns to the outside.

These pots have been bought over from remote villages in Turkey. Due to the material the contents stayed cool and protected, perfect for fermenting traditional wine. Over time these are replaced and the older wine storage bottles become perfect decorative pieces in the modern home, adding an authentic touch of mediterranean rustic charm.

They are all handmade using the traditional methods handed down generations. They use natural clay found around them and baked in kilns carved into the earth.

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
