Large Asian tapestry in embroidered silk.

The embroidery represents a hunting scene in the middle of nature: a tiger is chasing a deer in the middle of groves of trees and bamboos.
In the background are farmers in a rice field, one of the farmers uses an ox to pull a plow.
The tapestry is decorated with a floral frieze.

French Indochina (current Vietnam), around 1890.

In good condition, slight flaws visible on photos.
The tapestry will be sent unframed.
