A fantastic mid-century wall mirror, shaped a little like an old TV screen, made of handcarved hardwood and finished with a lacquered shell gold (gold powder) gilding that has a gentle shimmer and a high surface sheen. It was bought in Paris, and is probably French. It dates to the 1950s or 1960s.
