Great Louis XVI kitchen worktable. France, around 1760. Oak wood with 2 inserted plates made of bluestone.

This unique free standing work table was manufactured in the 18th century for a country estate or a chateau. Together with the oven, he formed the center of a large kitchen and is quasi predecessor modern kitchen islands.

On 6 square conical feet standing with bridge connection. High frame with a total of 14 drawer diaphragms over the blanked table legs. 2 drawers. All around slightly protruding plate, consisting of frame and 2 inserted blasting plates.

Restaurant restored with an e-denied wooden surface.

The table can be transported in 4 parts (frame, frame of the plate and the 2 bleaching plates).
