About This Piece

Vintage Design

Lamp shade made of traditional metallurgical technique.
Coloured in mass.
Shaded and spotted.
Heavy metal compounds are added to glass during melting.

Foamed glass mass contains tiny bubbles of air, which give a decorative effect.

Because such a glass product is unique, each lamp has its own character.

The lamp was produced by the German glass factory Peill & Putzler in the late 1960s and remains in excellent condition.
