Large Model 19 Sideboard in Teak by Johannes Andersen for Uldum, 1960s

An incomparably beautiful sideboard in teak in absolute top condition! The furniture is designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Möbelfabrik in Denmark.

The sideboard is in model 19 and the model has both doors and shutter doors.

The sideboard has a cabinet door on each outer edge with a shelf behind it where all are removable and removable. In the middle of the sideboard there are shuttered doors with shelves behind them and three drawers. The drawers are lined with green felt at the bottom and the top drawer also has a sliding insert for small items, cutlery etc.
the shutters are made with such fine precision that they appear to be made in one piece and all the shutters have thin slim handles that are softly shaped.

The entire sideboard has softly rounded edges that are softly shaped and outwardly curved short sides.

The design of the attachment of the legs to the upper part of the furniture is a well-known signature for Andersen. The legs are connected and give the sideboard very good stability.

The sideboard is very well made and well worked with a wonderful quality with exquisite details as always with Johannes Andersen's furniture.
