This is an absolutely beautiful and elegant vintage LARGE Nao Lladro Seated Ballerina. She has been handcrafted in porcelain and made in Spain. This Lladro Ballerina is very RARE and is a retired vintage original in a gloss finish. The ballerina sits on her stool with her legs crossed and elegant pointed ballet shoes. She wears a beautiful pleated dress with a corseted top and white full skirt with matching white short puff sleeves. Her corseted middle is in a wonderful light blue to match her ballet shoes. She has a matching tie in her hair which is swept up into a bun. The ballerina looks deep in thought but manages to look so elegant even when sitting. This vintage Nao Ballet dancer is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It is a vintage item and I think it was make in 1975 as it has 75 etched at the bottom. It has the NAO stamp to the bottom - Made In Spain and the stamp was used on figures made between 1970-75 This would make a great gift for a retired dancer or someone who loves the theatre and arts. It would also make a great trophy for any dancer. Also a great collectable figurine. Or simply treat yourself ! You deserve it.
