The LOTA sofa was designed by Eileen Gray and produced by Classicon in Munich. Sofa with black lacquered arms and four sumptuous loose, soft side and back cushions. The sofa was designed by Gray in 1924 for the Madame Mathieu-Levy apartment on Rue de Lota in Paris. It was considered one of the most sensational examples of French interior architecture of the 1920s, Eileen Gray had created the furniture over a period of five years.
