Vintage Design

Found in France in a manor in Burgundy, this magnificent Louis Philippe mirror dates from the 1880s. The frame, in gilded wood with gold leaf, is decorated with an elegant subtly engraved lattice border, as well as a beaded inside. Its refined design and precise finishes bear witness to the artisanal know-how of the time.

This wall mirror, which was mounted above a marble fireplace, retains its original glass, with slight imperfections that add to its antique charm, including a few small black spots and scratches on the lower portion of the glass. The gilded frame has an authentic patina that reinforces its historic character.
