Antique French 19th Century Louis Philippe style gilt mirror featuring a rare and elegant geometric scalloped motif.

This refined mirror showcases the classic rounded top corners typical of the Louis Philippe style—beloved for its clean lines and timeless shape, making it a versatile fit for both traditional and modern interiors. The frame retains its original gold gilt finish, beautifully timeworn with a rich patina that adds warmth and character. It also preserves its original beautiful foxed mirror plate and wooden back cladding. The glass remains in very good condition, with just a few tiny age spots that add to its antique charm. Minor imperfections and small areas of wear on the frame are consistent with age and use, but do not detract from its appeal. A truly authentic and characterful piece.
